Trust/Estate/Litigation/ Administration

Trust and Estate law encompasses planning and administration. We have prepared estate plans consisting of every estate planning vehicle, from simple last wills and testaments and durable powers of attorney to special needs trusts, revocable trusts (living trusts), and irrevocable trusts. These plans allow an individual or couple to have peace of mind regarding the disposition of their assets at their death. They further allow the beneficiaries to proceed with their attorney through an orderly inventory and distribution of the assets.

Estate and Trust litigation involves disputes typically arising after the death of an individual. Unfortunately, these usually involve either a poorly crafted estate plan or coercion or duress created by someone close to an incompetent decedent. These cases require a vast knowledge and experience of the estate and trust laws, and we have tried several of these cases in Missouri, including one six-week trial in the State of California.
